Jägermeister began its journey in a vinegar factory in Wolfenbüttel, Germany. Wilhelm Mast founded the factory in 1878, but it was not until decades later that Jägermeister was created, by his son Curt Mast, who took over the factory from his father. Alcohol content: 35°

It is now more popular than ever. Did you know? It takes a year to make Jägermeister. The secret recipe is stored in oak barrels for 365 days and goes through a total of 383 quality checks through the process.

Mandarine Napoleon liqueur is a blend of Mediterranean mandarin distillate, cognac, herbs and spices. Dating back to the early 1800s, the history of this liqueur is as rich as its flavour is distinct.
Mandarine Napoléon
The drink was developed for Napoleon Bonaparte after he met the chemist Antoine-François de Fourcroy, who was renowned for his extraordinary distilling skills. However, the recipe was later lost... It was only a few years later, at the end of the 19th century, that the Belgian chemist Louis Schmidt rediscovered the recipe for Napoleon's favourite drink and decided to create a liqueur based on this recipe. Since then, the recipe has been secretly kept from generation to generation.

You can enjoy Mandarine Napoleon in many ways, but the brand signature drink is a Mandarine Ginger. Here is how you make it: Mandarine Napoleon – 4cl Fresh lime juice – 1.5l Ginger ale – 15cl 1 dash of aromatic bitter (e.g. Angostura) Fill the glass with ice and garnish with a lime quarter.

Meukow cognac started its journey in 1850 when two brothers, Auguste-Christophe and Gustav Meukow, were send to France in search of ‘eaux-de-vie'. By 1862 A.C, their first commercial office was established in the town of Cognac. Today, Philippe Coste is at the helm of Meukow with the assistance of his two sisters, Marie-Laure, and Céline. Did you know? The first ever batch of Meukow was created to satisfy Silesian royalty. Alcohol content: 20 to 40°

Meukow Xpresso is a coffee and cognac liquor with a smoothness and sweetness that reveals powerful aromas of roasted coffee, burnt oak, dark chocolate and bitter orange. This liquor is best enjoyed frozen, in a cocktail and with desserts.

Meukow Wild Berry is a tasty and especially sweet French liqueur, which is made by infusing cognac and eaux-de-vie with a natural extract of wild berries.

The legendary Corsican aperitif wine dates back to 1872, and was produced by Louis-Napoleon Mattei. In 2016, the brand was taken over by three ambitious entrepreneurs with knowledge of its heritage value. Alcohol content: 15°.
Mattei Cap Corse
Mattei Cap Corse is created from an enticing blend of ingredients that include cinchona, gentian, walnut husk, bitter orange, cocoa, vanilla, citron, lemon, lime, ginger, Colombo, and mistelles from the vineyards of Cap Corse, and more. Did you know? Cinchona is known to have medicinal benefits. Louis-Napoleon Mattei first thought to use it to fight against malaria, after discovering it on a trip to the Caribbean.

Cap Mattei White: light citrus notes with a little tangy spice. The perfectly balanced aperitif is finished off with grapefruit, apricots, mango, and subtle notes of pear. Cap Mattei Red: Cap Mattei red is a beautiful blend of floral, fruity and famous dry quina quina bittersweet notes. It has a warm and delicate profile from the first sip and the thick aroma is produced from exotic and locally sourced plants.

The Blossom range is a collaboration between Blossom and Meukow cognacs, which was founded in 1862. Gin Blossom is inspired by Sierra Mariola National Park, which is considered as a natural botanical garden of sorts and is produced in Alcoy, Costa Blanca. Alcohol content: 40 to 45°.

Alongside over 20 scrupulously selected botanicals, Blossom is produced from the highest quality Spanish grain alcohol and goes through three distillation processes to give it its crisp freshness and intense aroma. With a long and intense finish, Blossom is the perfect dinner companion. Did you know? Gin was prescribed for infections and circulation issues in the Middle Ages.

Established in 2014 by Stephan Garbe, Gin Sul is described as “saudade, distilled in Hamburg.” Whilst it is Hamburg’s only Gin, its roots lie in Portugal. ‘Saudade’ is one of the top ten hardest words to translate, but can be described as a mixture of longing and nostalgic melancholy. Alcohol content: 43°.

Gin Sul has a distinctive citrus taste due to the fresh lemons used from Portugal. You will also notice notes of juniper berries, coriander seed, cinnamon, allspice, lavender, rosemary and rose petals. These are just a few of the botanicals that are used to create the delectable gin. Did you know? The lemons in the Algarve that are used to create Gin Sul are often the size of a grapefruit.

Gin Sul is recognised by the white clay bottle, adorned with blue writing. There have been several special editions, but the original taste of Portugal remains hugely popular amongst Gin connoisseurs. In 2013, Ferdinand’s Gin began its story along the riverbanks of the river Saar. At that time, two brothers got to work on creating this Superior premium dry gin. Alcohol content: 44°.

San Lino is the name of the first distillery to be created on the island of Cuba in 1862. The mastermind behind San Lino Rum is Caesar Augusto Marti, using traditional Cuban methods to create the smooth and sophisticated San Lino Rum. Alcohol content: 40°.

The tropical climate of Cuba is perfect for growing sugar cane, which is refined into molasses. Connoisseurs will know that the best Rum in the world comes from sugar producing countries. The ageing process takes between 3 to 5 years to give a beautiful, perfectly blended Rum to satisfy the finer palate. Did you know? San Lino rum has a uniquely light and delicate style, which came by request of the Spanish Crown, who had a preference for spirits with a more delicate flavour.

Carta Blanca: Fresh and aromatic, with subtle notes of vanilla. Aged for 3 years, Carta Blanca is ideal for the Cuban classic Mojito. Carta Oro: A more complex blend with rich roasted coffee and cocoa, finished perfectly with an intense kick of vanilla.

With a demonisation of origin since 1994, Mezcal can only be produced in 9 different Mexican States. In 2010, three childhood friends got together to create Mezcal San Cosme, representing ancestral tradition in modern packaging.

Mezcal is truly unique and has shared its history for over 24 centuries. The refined spirit presents complex aromas and a smoky not on the palate, which is appreciated best by slow consumption. Agave espadin is used to finish its exceptional flavour. Did you know? The name San Cosme is derived from Saint Cosmas, Patron of Doctors, and has been associated with several medical uses.

In 1945, Angelo Molinari, began to experiment with blending in order to create arguably the highest quality Sambuca in the world. The iconic star anise-based liqueur recipe remains secret today. Alcohol content: 36 to 40°.

Limoncello was first created at the end of the 19th century by Vincenza Canale. Vincenza was a pioneer hotel business owner, and started selling her enticing recipe to tourists on the Italian island of Capri, which she created with hand-picked lemons from the island. Alcohol content: 30°.

Vincenza passed down her famous recipe through generations of the Canale family, and in 1988 her descendants created the Limoncello do Capri production company. It was the only company to be authorised to set up on the island. Did you know? There was a time that Limoncello was so popular in Italy that some restaurants served it for free with dinner. It is otherwise readily available in bars and restaurants across the boot-shaped country.

The lemon liqueur is so favourable that variations are yet to be created. The recognisable lingering taste comes from lemons hand-picked exclusively from Sorrento. The lemon meringue pie aroma is an especially pleasing touch.

Cherry Heering was established in 1818 by Peter F. Heering, after being given the recipe by his former boss’ wife in 1806. Cherry Heering is the oldest cherry liqueur in the world, made famous for its legendary contribution to cocktails such as the Singapore Sling, Blood and Sand, and the Copenhagen.
